Darcie Seboe Einarson
Attorney, Divorce Coach
Darcie Einarson obtained a BA in Psychology from the University of North Dakota in 1989 and graduated from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 1992. If she were not an attorney, she says she would likely be a therapist.
Einarson has been negotiating, mediating, and trying divorce and parenting cases in the northern valley since 1992. She encourages her clients to be realistic and see the larger picture. She is creative, organized, and enjoys finding solutions that are “win-win”. She challenges her clients to “think outside the box”.
Darcie went through her own divorce after 24 years of marriage. Even though she was an experienced attorney by that time, she then viewed the process through the lens of a client and a new single mom. She knows the struggle of worrying about what might happen and how to help children through the process. She describes her own divorce as an event that has changed the way she approaches her work. She is collaboratively trained and on the roster as an attorney and divorce coach.
Einarson began her practice in Cavalier, ND. She founded her own boutique firm in Grafton in 1996. Einarson has had experience with business development, litigation and dissolution. These skills she brings to her divorce practice as many of her clients are business owners. She has considerable experience with high asset cases and farming operations.
Darcie is licensed in Minnesota, North Dakota and Arizona. She is a member of each state’s Family Law Section. She is a past president of the Family Law Section of the State Bar Association of North Dakota, was President of the State Bar Association of North Dakota in 2017-2018 and recently served as the municipal judge for the City of Grafton. Darcie has represented children, performed parenting investigations and has been a certified mediator since 1989.
